Patrick Oleson is a born and raised South Floridian artist with Norwegian and Midwestern roots. Interested in the adventurous and storytelling aspects of mark-making, Oleson explores his interests/experiences through mixed media. Oleson has recently started collaborating with the locale through painting and digital media, as a segway into NFT's that contribute to community outreach.
Oleson currently has a studio at Fountainhead. Oleson held a studio residency at the Bakehouse Art Complex for 3 years and worked with them for 8 years. Oleson's involvement with non for profit organizations has led to expanding work in community based projects. Oleson has exhibited work in various shows such as “New World North West” at the African Heritage Cultural Arts Center, “Etcetera” at Mana Contemporary spaces, “Paint Me Miami”, “Where the Land is Free” at the Bakehouse Art Complex, “Gravity Hustle” at Mindy Solomons Gallery, “Miami University Young Painters Competition 2020” at Hiestand Galleries (Oxford,Ohio), "Collected Impressions" at Coral Contemporary Gallery (Miami, Florida), "Materialization" at Edge Zones (Miami, Florida).
